Madonna Turning To Rock And Rap For Next Album

I guess it’s the last genre left for Madonna. She’s been performing since she was a teen and eventually there will be nothing she hasn’t touched.

Up next? Rap and Rock fusion.

The ‘Celebration’ singer is working with both rap producer A-Trak and rock producer Brendan O’Brien – who has previously worked with Pearl Jam – and wants to merge the two genres into a new sound

A-Trak, real name Alain Macklovitch, told the Daily Star newspaper:

“It’s my production, turned into song structure – halfway between rap and electronic and whatever else I listen to.”

The album is due to release next year. I’ll give everything a chance once. Can’t wait to hear it.

Rock and rap fusion: A NEW sound?! So what did Urban Dance Squad do? And what about Rage Against The Machine? Madonna needs to retire!

OH gosh she needs to stop now. I don’t want to see her 60 year old body up on stage in the future

Haha she certainly hasn’t tried it all, not even close. Just pop influenced with a bit of electronic music and r&b, and of course there are some other mild influences too. But rock and rap seem like a logic continum for her, she follows the current.. (That’s nowadays, she once was the one renewing pop genre but not really anymore IMO)
