The media outlets are probably disappointed in the news that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are not attending the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday. Now there won’t be any chances for awkward moments between the couple and Jennifer Aniston, who is presenting.
Angelina’s stylist broke the news to E!:
“They’re not going because he’s not nominated individually,” she told me at the soiree. “Inglourious Basterds is, but not him.”
You’d think that since the movie was nominated, he’d want to be there. But Brad’s manager confirmed the news this morning.
Maybe the couple is just going to veg out at home and watch the awards on tv? Angelina was just doing re-shoots for ‘Salt’ and I’m sure Brad’s got some new projects coming up fast – maybe they wanted to take it easy? I’m disappointed that we won’t see them on the red carpet!

If these are all adults we are talking about here, they were all over it years ago. Sure seems like Jennifer is and c’mon, Brad has a load of kids now. The “media” are so desperate for some story here and there is nothing.

Some people and the media is so stupid. They don’t attend award shows unless they are nominated or occasionally they will present. I don’t know why people are so shocked. A lot of people don’t attend award shows unless they are nominated or presenting. George Clooney, Leonardo Dicaprio, and others are known for this. Besides a lot of people were atacking Brad and Angelina for going to all of the award shows eventhough they were nominated. Saying they loved the publicity. Which is funny because 99% of the nominees are the same for all of the shows and they went to all of the shows. The desperate for publicity comments are ridiculous. They are seen only a few times a month unless it’s movie promotion/filming or awards season. If they loved attention so much they would go to The Ivy and other pap hotspots all of the time. There certainly would be a lot more photos of the twins.

mmm hmmm. Angie is just insecure. she knows Jen is looking pretty damn good these days & she doesnt want everyone seeing the look in Brad’s eyes when he’s lookin at the Ex. The grass was greener over there and Angie knows it.

Maybe they are sending a “not to subtle” message to award show producers to not assit his ex in exploiting them. Who do you want at the award ceremony? The nominees or their bitter exes? Trying to increase the audience by promising a “show down”? I don’t blame them, as much as I’ll miss them on the carpet. Sure they’ll be at the SAGs, CCAs, Oscars, etc. promoting his work, just not the GGs. That was a very awkward moment for Aniston at the oscars last year, she didn’t handle herself well at all, but somehow think she’s the most dissappointed at this news. They’re not playing her game anymore and seemingly don’t care about any bad PR this move gets them.
Brag & Angie never attend award shows when neither are nominated. They go out very little compared to other celebs-even haters should be able to discern this fact. Some celebs attend every show/store/hotel red carpet they get invited to- the JPs don’t. Last year, they were nominated for almost all the awards, so we got to see them a lot. This year, we may see them at the CCAs and/or SAGs, since Brad was nominated for both. If every celeb attends every award show, there would be no room for the nominees- where the focus SHOULD be.

I’m so sick of the morons that actually want to play these two against each other. Angie’s trash, she can’t hold a candle to the beauty and class of Jennifer and she knows it.
