Beyonce wants to take a six-month break from music. The singer has had a great run and is ready to bow out of the limelight and enjoy her family for a while.
“It’s definitely time to take a break, to recharge my batteries. I’d like to take about six months and not go into the studio. I need to just live life, to be inspired by things again.
“I’m going to do random things. I want to go to restaurants, maybe take a class and see some movies and Broadway shows.
“I’ll spend more time with Daniel. He’s a wonderful kid, amazing, so smart. And I spoil him, so it’s a lot of work. He’s a 24-hour job.”
But it’s going to be tough! Music is part of Beyonce’s life. She said in an interview with the USA Today newspaper:
“It will be the hardest thing in the world for me to make myself not do an album and shoot a video and turn it in and say, ‘I’m ready!’ I already have all these melodies and ideas in my head. I have to tell myself, ‘Sit down! Sit down!’

I am not going to miss her. Six months isn’t really all that long. Maybe she should do an entire year.
There is a God! This chick should have taken a break YEARS ago. Maybe she can stop being selfish and give Jay the baby that he’s been begging her for.
I will so miss her!!! but i am. . . sasha fierce isnt getting old anytime soon and her tour was so mind blowing and seemed such hard work that she deserves to just sit back and enjoy the good life all the hard work has helped her achieve! cant wait to have you back though B!!
boohoo…we all have been working since we were teens, we dont take luxurious 6months vacations every year or every 2yrs. I dont have sympathy for these kind of people that want to make everyone else feel sorry for them when she can afford stop working all together if she wanted but wont because of greed NOT talent.
I am DEFINITELY going to miss Beyonce when she’s gone! But once she goes back into the studio after 6 months it’s another 9 months or so until the record is finished and all the album art is shot. Bummer! But she definitely deserves to enjoy her life. She’s been doing this since she was a teen!
