Britney Spears Not Close To Ending Conservatorship

Britney Spears headed to the courthouse today, for what she hoped would be the meeting to end part of her conservatorship. Her goal today was to regain some of the personal portions of the restrictions. This would've had her closer to shared custody of her sons instead of the visitation-only agreement she now has with Kevin Federline.
But a source outside the courtroom says that Britney left the building in tears. According to OK!, the meeting didn't go well.
She was visibly upset,” a witness tells OK!. “Her lipstick was all gone and her face looked puffy like she’d just had a sobbing jag.”
All that Commissioner Reva Goetz would offer is this:
There was no change to the conservatorship order, and the only statement Goetz would offer was that she “looks forward to” the next status update with Britney.
I am really cheering her on. I hope she gets her life back in her own hands very soon.

It must absolutely suck to be her age and have NO control over decisions. I hope she gets herself back where she used to be. I kindof have a soft spot for this girl.
This story has lost its steam.. I mean, who cares?

I think this is a good thing for her - she's still not stable.

At some point they are going to have to start giving her control over small things to see if she can handle it. What's going to happen is they are going to just hand it all back over to her one of these days and she's going to be overwhelmed again. Ease her back into it and if she starts to struggle, then they give her additional help she needs. They also need to make sure that she has a healthy financial staff of advisors to help her with that aspect. ~~~~I don't believe that she is 100% yet. However, I do think she is making strides and really trying. And like Scruffy ^^^ I'm rooting for her.
my understanding is that a lot of her medical history was discussed (in private). She must not be improving if the judge decided to keep the conservatorship as is. We dont know if she has control of small things but if she cant even handle that Im sure it would be revoked. It's sad to see her this unstable, she clearly shouldnt be in the spotlight like she is. People around her should focus on her mental and emotional health first.
Britney Spears’ conservatorship could end soon. The 28-year-old singer’s father Jamie Spears who was made co-conservator of her personal and professional affairs after her public breakdown in 2008 - has met with lawyers and wants a judge to review the conditions of the agreement now Britney’s ‘Circus’ tour has ended.

personally, I think that her dad will never let her go completely. People talk about her needing people around her that aren't just out to get her money, but he's making money off her too and if the conservator ship ends, so does his paycheck.

Of course everyone roots for the parents in these cases, but the children's development and home stability are always number one to the courts. I work with an advocate group for families of loved ones with a persistent mental illness like schizophrenia and this type of thing where the Mom just gets supervised visitation only usually happens when other solutions failed first. Nobody wants kids to be without a Mother.
she will never recover. sad.
what the heck is a sobbing jag?!
If she had no money, I don't think she would have all these conservators and guardians. I'm beginning to think that this is really a way for several people to earn money from her. I think there are lawyers that get salaries from this arrangement as well as her father. At one time she might have needed some professional psychiatric help, but to take away an adult’s rights the way it appears several people have colluded to do hers, somehow appears wrong. Where is the American Civil Liberty Union?
thats because this broad is a mental case, and she knows it
she does all this crap just to get attention, cause she is and has
been a nobody for a while, she will never make a come back
