Kristen Stewart's Kindness May Cost Man His Job

Kristen Stewart's Kindness May Cost Man His Job

Kristen Stewart's kindness to a fan might have gotten him in some hot water with his employer. Kristen had served jury duty for a few days early this week and after it was over, a security guard asked her if she'd pose for a photo with him. Kristen agreed to it, but probably didn't realize that it might cost him his job.

The security guard let his pal's wife share the photo online and the story spread like wildfire - and caught the attention of the security guard's bosses at the courthouse. The woman removed the photo but it had already been used by numerous sites.

"Right now my husband and the security guard are in trouble," a person claiming to be the man's wife posted online, after yanking down the photo, "for [the picture] having gone up ... because it is confidential when celebrities are in court."

You can peek at the photo here.

Since Kristen was obviously okay with taking the photo, do you think he should lose his job?

I agree, but at the same time, you can't make exceptions for one person, because then the next person comes along and thinks it's okay, and it's just a vicious circle from there.

I feel like the reason is just beyond the grasp of my sleep-deprived mind, but why do celebrities get preferential treatment when it comes to jury duty?

well, working in a court of law takes some moral responsibilities...I'm sorry but the security guy is an idiot... You dont go and do that on your working hours..you're not the security in a mall or a parking lot

He should have definitely knew what was allowed and what wasn't. But I don't think he should lose his job. He should be talked to, maybe written up. But if this is a first offence, let him off with a warning. I don't he'll do it again. But not worth losing your job over.

er, this headline is totally misleading. she didn't do anything wrong. the security guard should know the basics about confidentiality.

The headline is misleading only if the little voices tell you this is so. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE VOICES.

okay, am i the only person who finds this story slightly suspicious? the court has a law about photographing celebrities in court?? why would the court system have a separate law for celebrities AND how do you decide who is a celebrity and who isn't? I call BS on this story, sounds fabricated.

Fired for what? That photo doesn't prove anything about her being at court for jury duty.
On a side note, it's cool that she showed up for jury duty. I'm sure a lot of celebs would try to get out of it.

he should loose his job, or at least he should have a suspenction like a punishement, because he knew he couldn't do that, so why he did it? and Kristen must learn whit this! i think a suspenction its the minimun, because if there are rules we have to respect them.
