Taylor Lautner's New Role Will Be A Stretch

'Twilight' star Taylor Lautner continues his quest to become The Next Big Movie Star. He will star in the new movie adaptation of 'Stretch Armstrong.'
"In the past two years, Taylor has emerged as a real star at the global box office," said [Universal Studios] co-chief Donna Langley. "He brings the perfect balance of energy and athleticism to the role of an unlikely super hero with a fantastic super power."
There's no question Taylor has made the most of his opportunities from being involved with the 'Twilight' franchise. While Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart seem more interested in doing smaller, independent films, Taylor clearly enjoys doing the big studio movies.
I think it's great that all three actors are advancing their careers in the way they want :)

He's just a teen, there's a lot for him to prove.
Kristen has one film in development while Robert has just been comfirmed for a book adaptation Water for Elephants with Reese Witherspoon and possibly Sean Penn and there are two other films he has in works.

I can't believe they're making a movie about a toy that has big, stretchy arms. WTF?
He has really made a name for himself from the Twilight movies, but I'm excited to see how he does in a different role of another blockbuster film. I must admit I haven't seen him in any other films so this is exciting!
Grand. If there's one word I hate, it's grand. It's so phony. For a second, I was tempted to tell her to forget about the matinee. But we chewed the fat for a while. That is, she chewed it.
