Have you ever been to Mardi Gras? I went one year when I was in college… and let’s just say it was a ONCE in a lifetime experience. I am not really much of a drinker – which made me the only sober person on the block. It was in-sane. The guys were really having a great time though. 
Kate Hudson was seen out with her son Ryder enjoying the early afternoon festivities of Mardi Gras in New Orleans. That’s a whole different story isn’t it!!?

I don’t think I’d enjoy Mardi Gras. I hold my liquor really well, so I don’t have a lot of patience for people who completely lose themselves.
i think it would be so much fun to go to Mardi Gras.
I went the week before Mardi Gras with my French club my senior year in high school, and trust me, they start EARLY! I think my French Club teacher was regretting her choice of dates big time! But as a 17-year-old, I had a blast!
ya’ll should all come to Mobile AL Mardi Gras…its a good party…but not with all the bad stuff New Orleans has. There are families everywhere. We have drinking and crazy people but not the magnitude they have so we can let the kiddies have fun also with out worry of something happening to them.

I enjoy going but the crowds can quickly get out of hand. I’d not take any of my kids down there at night, during the day early is okay. I’m a drinker so I have fun. lol

I went to the “Daytona week-end” once …CRAZY shit !!! boobs everywhere , bikers going nuts ’cause of all the boobs showing …
but had a great time anyway ..may I had that some bikers are hot !!

Been to Mardi Gras many times….even lived in NO for a brief time as a kid. Love going to the parades & getting throws. Not sure it would be fun with that many cops around me. hahahahaha!!!!
oh and I saw guns n’ roses frontman (axl rose) looking kind of lost ..alone on the scene ..the fuck ; it was awesome ..great time
I have actually never been to Mardi Gras. Its so cool that she is taking Ryer along with her to share the experience though.
I’ve never been to Mardi Gras and don’t really want to. I’m not a big drinker either and the focus is really on that.

Where i live we always celebrate Mardi Gras though we have a name for it in our language, not the french one. I have a feeling it’s quite different from the New Orleans experience, though we’re celebrating the same thing
I’d love to give a try to the more festive way of it all.
