Anne Hathaway talked candidly with InStyle magazine about her looks, her style and who she admires in Hollywood.
Anne shared that she doesn't think she's very pretty:
“I think I’ve got really weird features. I have very large features on a very small head,” she tells the magazine. “But, you know, I’m not going to beat myself up. It’s my face. I’m not very pretty. But that’s OK because I do know that I look like myself, and I think at the end of the day, as nice as pretty is, authenticity is more important.”
Anne says that she likes to change up her day and evening looks:
“I love going out in high heels and dressing up and glamming it up, and having there be a distinction between what happened throughout the day and the evening.”
She says that she admires the "innovation and originality" of people that like Tilda Swinton, Gwen Stefani, Lady Gaga, Selma Blair, and Natalie Portman.
“I like people who are true to themselves.”
She's very humble, even though I would disagree with her on the "not pretty" quote. I think she's quite stunning.

Agreed on the authenticity and originality. I think i have such "standard" features that i find myself a bit boring looking sometimes, so i'd love to look like Anne does, big lips and eyes and all, but i also know some people do find her weird looking.
She's unique and not cookie cutter blonde. I think that she's very pretty.
"stunning"?????????? absolutely not! I wouldn't give her a second look if she were an average person walking thru a mall parking lot. Certainly not ugly but in no way is she stunning.
I think she's very beautiful. Her skin is flawless and she has big beautiful brown eyes and nice full lips.

She's beautiful. I hate when celebs moan about their looks when they're quite simply, stunning.
Ugh, I think she is soooooo NOT pretty. Love her attitude though, that goes farther than looks.

I think the most beautiful people tend to be those with unique features... but if you ask a large group of people whether or not a unique person is pretty, you're likely to get a mixed bag of answers. Which is why whenever you see one of those "most beautiful" composite images, taking the "best" features, the "person" always ends up looking extremely generic.
i know the girl. she's anything but humble!
She has a pretty face but also the prettiest toes I think I've ever seen.
