I love love love that movie. I watch it all the time. I love the long shot of Elizabeth as she walks through the ball looking for Wickham and then after she dances with Darcy and the camera pans throughout the ball you see all the background activity. Great cinematography in that movie. Just love it.
I feel the same way about the movie that you do.
What about the part when Darcy helps Elizabeth into the carriage when she’s leaving Bingley’s house with her sister? Then he walks away and they focus on his hand and the way he stretches it out. LOVE that shot!
Yes, yes, yes. There is another hand shot right after Elizabeth leaves Pemberley after her encounter with Darcy. The camera zooms in on Darcy’s hand and he’s more calm, he doesn’t stretch his hand in a nervous twitch. He has totally accepted the fact that he is in love with her.
I could talk about this movie all day.

The best shot is when he’s walking through the field to her house after his aunt came to call. He takes my breath away.
