Tiger Woods may be ready to come out of hiding on Friday, but one person who reportedly is NOT attending: Elin Nordegren.
A source tells RadarOnline.com that Elin will not be there, as Tiger makes his first public statement about the scandal that has forever tarnished his image as golf’s golden boy.
When a reporter asked if she would attend the event – she said nothing.
I don’t blame her. She’s had to endure enough media attention just trying to keep to a normal routine while he’s hidden out. It’s Tiger’s turn to deal with the scrutiny.
This is what Tiger’s rep had to say about Friday:
Tiger will make his comments before “a small group of friends, colleagues and close associates.
“While Tiger feels that what happened is fundamentally a matter between he and his wife, he also recognizes that he has hurt and let down a lot of other people who were close to him,” the statement continued. “He also let down his fans. He wants to begin the process of making amends and that’s what he’s going to discuss.”

Honestly…I don’t think Tiger owes an apology to anyone but his wife and his family. I still think he’s an amazing athlete and I will keep watching him. I have known a few professional athletes and I don’t think Tiger is doing anything that many other professional athletes arent doing…He just got CAUGHT! Sucks for him…
While she may have been an au pair, she was also betrayed by the person who swore to honor her for the rest of her life. Not a winning situation irrespective of the payout.

she is still a winner here. Without Tiger, she would have been an opare so people don’t be stupid, she came off a big winner here. Meeting someone like that, you never loose. There are people out there with druks and abusers and when they leave, they leave with nothing!
Although the media is reporting that Elin Nordegren will not be attending Tiger’s press conference, I would not be too surprised if she attends.

I think she should attend. Just so she can publicly kick him in the balls. After that she can take his kids and his money and start a new life without that prick.

First, it isn’t a press conference since no press will be there and no questions will be taken because Cheetah is a chicken. I’m glad Elin isn’t attending but if I were her, I’d be filing divorce papers and getting half his billions.
He dosn’t owe me anything, so yeah, i’ll still watch him play.
