Tyra Banks has decided to try a new way to search for contestants for ‘America’s Next Top Model.’ She’s taking to the internet. Here’s what she posted on her blog:
Hey My Fierce Ladies,
Do YOU want to be on Top? Top Model that is… Tyra.com is holding an exclusive America’s Next Top Model search just for YOU. This is a chance for you to be seen by ME! Forget about those long lines, and just send ‘em right here. I will be looking at ALL of your pictures and choosing the girl that’s going to fly to California to be on Top Model! I wanna see all of you! From the Fiercely Real (ya know, plus sized) to the “straight” (skinny) models, just doin’ your thang. Ya just gotta be 5’7″ and over. But don’t fret, there’s not only one winner in this search… I will be featuring more winners on Tyra.com!!
I think this is smart, especially considering the brawl that broke out last year during the auditions.

Tyra, have you ever thought about working with tweens? My daughter’s dream is to become a model. She is an All-American tween…tomboy and beautiful. She is no longer beautiful on the outside but also on the inside. My daughter looks up to you and would love you you to be her mentor.
