Marie Osmond's Son Committed Suicide

Marie Osmond's Son Committed Suicide

Marie Osmond's 18-year-old son, Michael Blosil, committed suicide by jumping from his apartment on Friday evening. Yesterday, Marie released a statement.

"My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time," Marie, who helped her son fight depression throughout his life, tells ET.

Michael reportedly left a suicide note saying he felt he had no friends and could not fit in.

I can't even imagine what Marie and her family must be going through right now. My thoughts are with them.

I saw this last night, and it's unfathomable how such a young life is now over. He never gave himself a chance to grow and do anything. RIP, none the less. I'm hoping he's found the peace he was looking for. :(

I have an acquaintance who said the same thing of a friend who committed suicide: "he was fine when I saw him just a month ago!"

I really don't know what else to say. I feel sad for people who get to the point where it seems there's no longer any point in going on. I can't imagine how they must have felt.

He killed himself after having no friends? i agree you can be lonley and on the path of being lonley, it is stated that you either do the opposite things and also for some reason it states people who have no friends are most likley to commit suicide. (which is true in some ways)
