Kelly Clarkson Shows Off New Puzzle Tattoo

You get to hear some of Kelly Clarkson’s amazing singing before getting a look at her brand new puzzle tattoo with this video. It’s like a win-win! If you want to get right to the art, fast forward to about 5:20 and wait for the ‘American Idol’ winner to pull down her shirt and revel the tat on her back left shoulder.

What do you think about the design? The singer says there’s meaning behind the drawing – but she wouldn’t go into detail about what it is.

Well – I LOVE the concept, like ‘opening up to see inside’ and the whole puzzle thing – but I don’t think it’s that well done. As someone said, it looks unfinished, it’s bound to, because after all, it’s just an outline of a puzzle piece which is supposed to be the ‘skin’ – but maybe this a major flaw in the design?

I was considering getting a tat done by the same guy next time i’m in Amsterdam because he’s got a really good reputation, but looking at the way he’s done that, i’m not sure – but of course it depends on what he was given to on on, and how much he was involved in the design etc.

As for Kelly’s weight, who cares? She’s happy… and amazingly talented. Doesn’t bother me if she doesn’t look like Victoria Beckham – who is disgusting, may I add.

I guess she´s trying to get “Mamma Cass” part in a future biopic?

I know someone who has a puzzle piece tattoo. She said it was to represent autism, which is a cause close to her. Maybe that’s the meaning behind Kelly’s? Although, it really could be anything. I guess only Kelly could ever answer that question :)

Bah, really hard to tell if it’s any good or not from the video.. The idea behind it seems cool to me, it’s nice and simple, personal but not too “wannabe unique”. Thank gosh she didn’t start to over-explain it there, that’s lame… (imho) Also i liked her performance, but man she talks alot, compared to some singers at least.

Are you people retarded some of you anyway? She talks a lot…….retarded comment, When I go to concerts I like to hear the artist speak and maybe explain something about the song or about themselves it makes things relatable. If it’s only singing the concert is blah. I can Youtube live performances and get the singing a show is the whole artist. How would anyone who uses IMHO know if the tattoo is good or not? She is very talented

it always puzzles me (see what i did there?) when people get tattoos in places that are visible on their bodies but won’t tell people what they mean. if you don’t want to make the meaning public, then get it in a place where people won’t see it!

  12. Ninni says:

actually no-one has any oblication to explain their tattoos to anyone. What they need to do is be prepared to be asked about them, and be dissed also by random strangers. If you want to talk about your tattoo thats all well, but if you don’t you can just let others just see it as a beautiful piece of your body (or ugly..) And not all tattoos have that deep a meaning.
