Sandra's speech was great. I'm thrilled that Avatar didn't win best pic. I'm bummed that Anna Kendrick lost Best Supporting Actress. :(

Alec & Steve were pretty lame. I hope Hugh hosts next year again - he was great last year.

Was Jack Nicholson not there?? They always show him in the front row - it's tradition!

Some really good movies this year and yet again a really tough field, i feel sorry for the actors who don't win, it must be quite hard trying to be happy for your "opposition" but i guess they are actors lol and can pull it off.

we are just getting the relayed / reply on tv here now

So happy for Kathryn Bigelow. Steve Martin & Alec Baldwin were just amazing and so dang funny. Sandra Bullock deserved that award, i even cried when she won. What can i say about Monique, she nailed it, she did an amazing performance on Precious, whoever her attitude dissapoint me a little. she almost seem arrogant and so defensive, my husband said she was being so abnoxious, it was a turn off to hear her speak. The awards were great and definitely surprising with The Hurt Lock winning as picture of the year. I guess James Cameron is going to have to let this one go and enjoy the millions that Avatar made. Sorry Cameron, but this time the girls dominated. so dope!

Yup, yup, yup! Martin & Baldwin were hilarious! I didn't like Hugh last year, at all. The husband and I also thought the same of Monique. I was happy she won and then her speech was a total turn off.

Did Sandra forget to thank the hubby? I think she did unless she only thanked him in the backstage teleprompter that we have been hearing so much about. Also I noticed a few people were absent for the memorial tribute montage, like Farrah and Bea Arthur, Ed McMahon was absent as well but not shocking like Farrah and Bea. I didn't notice Jennifer Jones either but it was hard to see the first ones because the camera was back so far.

I don't think she forgot to Thank Jesse, she thank her mom for her love and support and for always being there for her and then pointed towards him and gave him the sweetest look. I'm so happy she won!

It's ALL about what people looked like here...Hurt Locker #1--where is the picture of the group--no love for the military here--lowest budget film to win an Oscar---Great Female Director--no love for her either?? Jeff Bridges is a stud--Lebowski has his Oscar --where is the love for him--all about the women--how they looked--same surface drama BS with no substance.

I usually don't reccommend Argentine movies (don't really like the performances, and the stories tend to be too... dense); but El Secreto... blew me away.
