Lindsay Lohan Suing Over E-Trade Ad

According to the New York Post, Lindsay Lohan is suing the financial company E-Trade over an ad that uses her name.
The ad is two babies talking via computer; the girl baby is upset about the boy baby not calling the night before. She asks if he was spending time with another "milkaholic" baby named Lindsay.
Lindsay's lawyer explained the lawsuit to the Post:
"Many celebrities are known by one name only, and E-Trade is using that knowledge to profit," Ovadia said.
"They used the name Lindsay," Ovadia said. "They're using her name as a parody of her life. Why didn't they use the name Susan? This is a subliminal message. Everybody's talking about it and saying it's Lindsay Lohan."
Apparently Lindsay wants the ad taken off the air and $100 million: $50 million for exemplary damages and another $50 million for compensatory damages.
E-trade claims Lindsay is a popular baby name and is the name of someone on their account team.
The lawyer cites celebrities like Madonna and Oprah who are known on a first name basis. I see one problem with this: Lindsay is a much more common name than either Madonna or Oprah.

I almost fell off my chair when my husband told me about this (the e*trade babies are his favorite commercials). I can't believe this chick is so self-involved that she actually believes that commercial has anything to do with her. It's called desperation for attention!
That commercial of E-trade is really very funny. I just don't know why Lindsay would think it has something to do with her. She is not the only girl in the world with that name. Well, she might just need to do it to get people's attention.

Now what is the all the fuss about ... I wonder how she got this whole idea because it really is far off. Doing great in what you do makes you stay in the business not controversies, the way I see it, this is one controversy Lindsay is making...
Guys, Ovadia is Michael Lohan's lawyer. Shawn Chapman Holly represents Lindsay Lohan. I remember well how Lindsay reacted when the ad aired during the superbowl after many people on twitter suggested to Lindsay that the commercial seemed to be about her (so there ARE people who connected the ad to Lindsay Lohan likely due to the "milkaholic" context). She made several jokes about the ad and seemed to take it in stride and has said little about it since. She was in Paris, France when the law suit was filed on Monday. I find it odd she says nothing about it, uses her father's lawyer (this is a big deal in that she has threatened to take legal action against her father, it makes little sense she would use his lawyer for anything), and her mother is all bent out of shape about it and said that she took a stand. I think Dina put Lindsay up to this and all this does is create ugly publicity for her daughter.
