'Jersey Shore' Is Moving To Miami

Although MTV has not confirmed where the second season of 'Jersey Shore' will be filmed, the Miami Herald has announced the show is moving to their sunny city.
Despite protests from some locals, South Beach rolled out the Ed Hardy carpet and Jersey Shore jumped on it like, well, a reality star in an awards show gifting suite. ... MTV hit is said to start in two weeks, to be followed by the arrival of the cast. Though we're not 100 % sure on where the [cast] will be residing, depending on who you ask, it's either too close or not close enough.
It doesn't sound like the 'Jersey Shore' cast is going to get the warmest welcome, if the tone of that article is any indication.
For me, here's the puzzling part: the show is called 'Jersey Shore,' so I think of New Jersey. Yet they're going to MIAMI?
Well, it's certainly a different part of the country from New Jersey, so I'm sure MTV will get plenty of drama out of that alone. What do you think of this move?

I got sucked into the first season, but I think the novelty has worn off a bit. I doubt I'll watch the second season. I wish reality TV would go back to be "spontaneous" and unscripted (for the most part). Or just go away completely. lol

They need to rename the show. How about Idiots in Miami.
No talent nobodies that are a flash in the pan...the girls are fake, from their tans to their bodies EWWWW, foul mouthed nasty no class idiots...just my opinion...Now Stars like Sandra Bullock, Meryl Streep etc. are STARS....these simpletons are a JOKE...damn tv stations will do anything to make money!!!

I didn't watch the first season, so I probably won't watch this one either. But they should really change the name since they won't be in Jersey anymore. Maybe something like 'Jersey Shore goes Miami'.
