Quote Of The Day: Zoe Saldana

‘Avatar’ and ‘Star Trek’ star Zoe Saldana really loves sex. Not just doing it but for the things she thinks it can prevent. Like criminal behavior.

S is for Sex. Love it, love it, love it-can’t live without it.

“I love sex. I love skin. I don’t believe the body is something to hide. I think in American society we’re messing up our kids by taking away the education on, and awareness of, our sexuality and replacing it with violence, guns and video games-and we’re breeding little criminals.”

It does strike me as rather weird sometimes when people are fine exposing their kids to really violent things but avoid anything with sexual overtones, but honestly, I thought the prevailing notion is that we expose young children to too much violence AND sex?

Yeah I dont agree with Zoe Saldana here. No one purposefully exposes their kids to violence to replace sex. I think parents just try to choose their battles. Its interesting to me when people claim that in America kids are over exposed to violence and we are breeding criminals because there are other parts of the world where younger kids actually picking up guns, and mugging people is much more common! And these kids dont have the money to buy violent video games or movies so then what is making them criminals and not American kids?
