Eric Dane And Rebecca Gayheart Reveal Their Daughter's Name

'Grey's Anatomy' star Eric Dane and his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, have finally announced their new baby girl's name. Are you ready? It's... Billie.
Eric told Ellen DeGeneres before Billie was born that he and Rebecca had decided on a name, but:
"Rebecca wants to wait until she sees her before we give her the name."
So what do you think of the name Billie Dane?

EVERY time there is a post about Rebecca Gayheart someone has to post a comment like this. Is she not allowed to move on w/ her life? Yes it's sad, but seriously let it go. How would you feel if (God forbid) you made that mistake and accidentally killed a kid, and then someone was there to remind you of it every day? I'm sure she already thinks about it enough, let her live her life and move on already!

Not a fan of the name or the mother. I saw pix of her smoking while she was pregnant, so I only hope the little girl is healthy. They're lucky to have her, although I'm not sure she's lucky to have them. THIS IS ALL MY OPINION...TO WHICH, AS AN AMERICAN CITIZEN, I'M ENTITLED.
Another site said it was Billie Beatrice, which is even more of a head scratcher if you ask me!!

I like the name Billie, but not with their last name. Billie Gayheart Dane sounds ok though.

Not a fan of the name Billie Beatrice.
I think it's a cute name and I wish them lots of happiness. I also think that although Rebecca make a huge mistake, which ultimately led to the death of a child, we should not be so cruel. I am sure that there isn't a day that goes by without her feeling guilt and sadness over what happened- she will have to live with that for the rest of her life. I feel bad for everyone who was involved in the accident especially the parents of the child but we should not judge someone so maliciously without actually KNOWING her.

I think the name "Billie" is cute, especially since it's the name of a DJ at a Toronto radio station and she's pretty cool. So that helps!

I always thought Rebecca was cute but she looks horrible in that picture. A lot of girls have boys name. The parents just add an ie to make it more feminine (Billie, Dannie, Bobbie, etc)

My name is Billie. I was named after my great-grandmother (well, her nickname- her real name was Wilhemina). I know everyone is titled to their opinions, so I'll try not to take the dislike of my name personally. Have a great day.

yeah i like the name billie. i'm a billie, was named after my dad, billy. its not the easiest of names to grow up with "billie jean" bj for short. yeah i caught hell alot growing up.
I hate it. If they'd had triplets, would they be Billie Jo, Bobbie Jo and Bettie Jo, like the girls from "Petticoat Junction?" However, they do get points for picking an actual name and not just a random noun like Pilot Inspektor.
