Jennifer Aniston would happily get back together with an ex.
The ‘Bounty Hunter’ star – who was married to Brad Pitt and previously dated Vince Vaughn and John Mayer – says she would consider rekindling an old romance as people can change.
When asked if she would get back with a former lover, Jennifer replied:
“Absolutely. When you dated before maybe you were at a time in your life when you’re not ready and not mature enough to make a big commitment. But people change and you learn to accept the good and the bad.”
The 41-year-old screen beauty has been constantly linked to her ‘Bounty Hunter’ co-star Gerard Butler and while she says he’s “lovely”, she insists they’re just good friends. She said in an interview with UK television program ‘GMTV’:
“Gerry is lovely, he’s a real nice guy. But it seems I get linked to all my co-stars. There seems to be a formula – if you make a movie together, then you must be dating in real life. I don’t know who starts those rumors but I’m learning to ignore them.”
What do you think? Is it wise to get back with an ex? If it didn’t work then, I’m not so sure it has any hope now. People do grow and change – yes, that’s true. But core beliefs typically remain constant and those are the ones that can make or break a relationship.

Big surprise. She answers a hypothetical question in general terms, and now, everyone tries to read into it on a personal level. Don’t forget the premise of the movie is two exes. Since it’s a rom-com, they will probably get back together. It’s a movie, escapism. I doubt she would try to sell her movie by saying getting back with an ex is pure BS.
Exactly. It’s a question about the movie. I don’t know why people always start thinking the characters are really Jennifer Aniston. No one will get a window into her soul by analyzing her movie characters.
But her and Gerard have so much chemistry!

Getting back with an ex is tricky. Mine kept telling me he’d changed and that things would be different, but within a very short time we’d fall into the same old bs that was there before.
As for Jennifer. I have a feeling she says things in interviews that she knows everyone wants to hear. And now right on cue everyone is going to start pairing her with her most recent ex–Douchy McTwitter.
I dunno if i believe a rekindled romance can work… maybe, but i think its the exception and not the rule

Here we go with the misleading headliners again she was asked do you believe ex’s can reunite and she said absolutely. it was a general question they did not ask her specifically would she reunite with an ex.
Aniston has been playing the same game for 5 long years. She knows EXACTLY what she is doing, and knows EXACTLY that her staying power depends on the continuing association with the Jolie-Pitt. CNN did a “Checklist of Aniston Love HOAX”, 1) date a co-star 2) take racy photo 3) insinuate Brad Pitt. Voila, it’s done, like a clockwork. What a FRAUD.
