Gisele Bundchen gave an interview to Vogue, and she opened up about her pregnancy and being a mother. It sounds like she really wanted to treasure every moment. She talked about how she stayed in shape during her pregnancy, her life as a new mom, and going back to work in front of the camera.
Gisele said she and Tom Brady had trouble agreeing on a name for Benjamin.
“I wanted him to be called River because I wanted something always flowing, immortal,” she says. “My husband said, ‘There’s no way we’re going to call him River.’ But my father’s name is Reinoldo, so it’s a homage to him. And it’s like water.”
It sounds like Tom was determined NOT to go Hollywood with the baby name- LOL.
Gisele said she only gained 30 pounds during her pregnancy, so losing the weight after she gave birth wasn’t difficult.
“I did kung fu up until two weeks before Benjamin was born, and yoga three days a week. I think a lot of people get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposals. I was mindful about what I ate, and I gained only 30 pounds.”
Gisele said she’s intentionally kept a low-profile since getting pregnant.
“I felt like my pregnancy was a sacred moment for me … I didn’t work apart from the contracts I have, and then I only let them use my face.”
Well, the picture of her below looks gorgeous, doesn’t it? Gisele talked about what it was like going back to work after the break.
“I got to the studio and I felt like I was E.T.-whoa, what’s going on? Hair and makeup? I hadn’t looked at myself in a mirror for a month and a half… Usually, as I walk through the door into that atmosphere, I already feel different. There’s a button that goes On and I’m On. And when I go On, there is almost no me; there is just a character who is doing all this. This time it wasn’t like that… For the first time, I think I actually saw me-the inside-instead of the persona.”

Her face makes me want to go hang out at a farm and see the rest of the horses.
she act like she’s better than everybody – she does come across obnoxious and snobby.
If you have ever read an interview with her, she is the EXACT opposite of obnoxious and snobby. She is so down to earth and loving and HAPPY. She will make an amazing mother and she is GORGEOUS
yes i’m aware, i too have ridden horses extensively. i was making a very poor attempt at humor.
gorgeous and loving woman
She always comes across as self righteous. Whatevs.
Very beautiful!
love her and love the interview!
she looks really great on this cover, but i’m sure some of that is to due photoshop
lol, that is one angry horse, and her feet should not be pointed down… that’s a good way to get her foot stuck in the stirrup when that angry-ass horse bucks her off.
Actually that does not mean he/she is pissed I have been a Barrel Racer since I was 6 years old and here what it could mean: If a horse moves his ears back, it doesn’t always mean that he is mad. Only when both ears are pinned flat against his head does it mean that he is angry. Sometimes the horse will tilt one ear back while the other says forward. Or he might tilt one ear back, then switch and tilt the other ear back. This means that you horse is listening to what is going on behind him. This is a good sign when you are riding your horse. If he tilts his ears backward, that means that he is paying attention to you and waiting for you to tell him what to do.
