Kate Winslet and her husband, director Sam Mendes, have split, ETOnline confirms. According to ET, the couple split earlier this year, but have kept it under wraps.
The British law firm Shillings said in a statement of the split:
it is “entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement” and that “both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children.”
The couple have been married since 2003 and have a son (Joe, age 6) together. Kate also has a daughter, Mia (9), from her first marriage.
I am just heartbroken for her family and wish them the best. I truly thought these two would last. Hopefully they are able to keep the details out of the press.

If you have ever heard her talk in interviews about Leo it is very apparent that she is in love with that guy……I believe her husband knew that anyways.

the way she was gushing over leo when she accepted her award – i thought that was odd and awkward….and her husband was right there, I can’t imagine how hurtful he must have felt.

It kinda reminds me of Hilary Swank and her husband. As soon as she got her second oscar, she got overwhelmed and forgot to thank him, weeks after, bam! DIVORCED! I think their spouses seem not apreciate the sudden success of their wives… Just my two cents of course!

Nah it’s this one.
There was a well-known entertainment pair at the Academy Awards who sat together, occasionally holding and laughing together. What a nice couple! Not. They actually can’t stand each other and haven’t lived together in months. However, as one of Hollywood’s perceived stable couples, they are not yet ready to explain to the world that their long-time (by Hollywood standards) relationship is over. Certainly not in such a public setting. And if one of them had showed up solo, or with another escort, it would have brought up too many questions. So it was easier just to go together, pretend that everything’s great, and to go their separate ways after the big event… each to a new boyfriend.
GREAT !! So now she and Leonardo DiCaprio can finally get it on. They are so meant to be together.
he’s the director of American Beauty, and he does some plays and stuff like that in London.
