City girl wants to take a road trip from LA to Chicago. While making the drive, city girl makes a detour and ends up in Oklahoma where she falls in love with a cowboy and changes her life completely.
I feel like we’ve seen some interpretation of this with Reese Witherspoon already – ‘Sweet Home Alabama’. And I’m sure if I thought hard enough I can come up with a few Sarah Jessica Parker or Renee Zellweger movies as well.
But alas, here we are. The film is based off of a blog written by Ree Drummond called ‘The Pioneer Woman’.

Eh, it does sound like another cliche romantic comedy
Ok…i’ll get a bunch of grief for saying this…but I am OVER this girl! Can’t put my finger exactly on why…but for some reason, she’s becoming increasingly irritating. Out every day now…pictures every day now…always in her work out clothes…she used to be so private and classy…now just seems off…a part of me thinks she may be starting to get a bit…dare i say it…self-loving?
she looks so comfy in these outfits….like no matter what she wears she looks good.
Grand. If there’s one word I hate, it’s grand. It’s so phony. For a second, I was tempted to tell her to forget about the matinee. But we chewed the fat for a while. That is, she chewed it.
