Michael Lohan is to marry girlfriend Kate Major. The 49-year-old father of Lindsay Lohan has popped the question to Kate and is “ecstatic” that she has said yes.
“I’m ecstatic. I’ve never met anyone who’s been there for me like Kate. She’s always been there for me. The one thing about Kate is that she doesn’t come with baggage.”
Um… like you do?
Kate, 27, is also thrilled to be engaged and says the wedding will take place before the end of 2010.
“I’m ecstatic. I’m very happy. Michael and I have known each other for four years, and it’s meant to be.”
“Michael went down with me to Florida for Easter, to meet my father to ask his permission, and my father gave his blessing.
“I’ve already talked to some of the bridesmaids, and it will probably be in New York, probably at the end of this year.”
Oh my goodness. Is this a reality show in the works? Or are these two really in love? I guess congrats are in order.

Wow. Wasnt she totally in love with Jon before this? I didnt even know these 2 were dating tho they are not high on my radar. So is it the job that makes the person or the person that makes the job? She worked for a tabloid and ends up being involved with 2 of their subjects.
This guy is broke, he has a terrible personality. She must really care about fame. I hope they spend their honeymoon in Bagdad.
