Bill Condon Will Direct The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn

It's official! Summit Entertainment has announced that Bill Condon will direct 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn'. Just in case you've forgotten this is the last book of the series. The one that needs to be done right. The one that needs to end as strongly as it began. No pressure Bill. No pressure.
"Bringing Stephenie Meyer's BREAKING DAWN to the screen requires a graceful and intelligent hand and we believe Bill Condon is exactly the right steward, having shown equal and abundant talents of immense creativity and subtle sensitivity,” said Erik Feig, President of Production and Acquisitions, for Summit Entertainment.
Added author Stephenie Meyer, “I'm so thrilled that Bill wants to work with us. I think he's going to be a great fit, and I'm excited to see what he does with the material.”
He's got some traction. After all, Mr. Condon is responsible for 'Dream Girls' and 'Kinsey'. I'd say we better get ready for some entertainment!
I loved this book, but not many 'Twilight' fans would agree. Most were utterly disappointed with the ending of the story. I felt it was rich and filled with a variety of characters I still want to learn more about. Stephanie Meyers definitely gave herself a dozen different ways to expand the franchise.

I don't care who directs it. I hated Breaking Dawn. I think Eclipse was my favorite so I'm excited to see that movie, even though it does look cheesy and the acting looks horrible in the trailer.

BD is going to be interesting..Stephenie Meyer is a producer this time around. If fans were disgruntled over the "fade to black" honeymoon in the book..wait til SM does that on the big screen..LOL
There are some HILARIOUS threads on IMDB about making breaking dawn a musical and having the end scenes as a thriller-style dance off. bwahahahahah

You kidding ???? Breaking Dawn was by far the best of the books and took the characters in the right direction---loved it. Going to be difficult to bring it to the screen in the correct manner and will require a deft touch indeed.

I can't wait...bring it on! I'm ready to see Eclipse, but I'm really excited to see how Breaking dawn will turn out. Bill better look out cuz there are big expectations for this one.
I hope that the writer stays true to the book for the most part, but I'd like to see them change the fight scene somewhat. That could have been bigger than the fight in Eclipse! I am worried about how things will be when Bella is pregnant with the baby and how the baby ages. That's going to be difficult to show on screen. I don't want them to gloss over anything.
