Cate Blanchett Hits Cannes Red Carpet In Alexander McQueen Gown

Cate Blanchett was absolutely stunning on the red carpet for the premiere of 'Robin Hood' at the 2010 Cannes International Film Festival. The actress wore a gown from the late Alexander McQueen's Pre-Fall 2010 collection. What do you think of that print?
Also in gorgeous frocks were Kate Beckinsale, Eva Longoria Parker, and Helen Mirren. Kate Beckinsale's looks so light and airy you want to touch it. I love this film festival because everyone dresses to the nines for it! Russell Crowe and Danielle Spencer make a gorgeous couple.
What do you think of the gowns? Who wins the 'best dressed' award? :)

Although the top needs some work (and it could be more form-fitting), Cate's gown has to be one of the more beautiful dresses I've seen on the red carpet these past few years. The other ones are nice as well, although Kate Beckinsale appears to be rocking the jellyfish vibe (which is quite a refreshing growing trend, but disturbing).
she must think she is an important human being in one way or another?
pssssssssssssssst: JUST LET HER THINK THAT WAY!!
Cate just owns this as far as I'm concerned! I'm really diggin the uniqueness of this McQueen vs. the typical, boring frilly fare worn by the others. God, the Blanchett is flawless!!!
I like Kate Beckinsale's dress but with her hairdo she looks like a poodle.

Actually, it is a rule in Cannes to be dressed to the nines. Women are not allowed to wear pants for "la montée des marches".

I think Kate looks lovely.
Not liking Alexander McQueen's dress much. I know he was a genius to many but I think his clothes are more appropriate for the runway than they are for the "laywoman". May he R.I.P.
