Yeah!! I’m so happy about this! ‘Breaking Dawn’ has so much detail I would HATE for it to be crammed into 2.5 hours. There are so many characters we need to get to know and fall in love with. I’d say Summitt did the right thing.
Here’s an excerpt from their release confirming that ‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ will be split into two movies.
Summit Entertainment confirmed today that THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN will be released as two separate films with the first of the two slated to be released in theatres on November 18, 2011. Academy Award winner Bill Condon will direct both films starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner along with Billy Burke as Charlie Swan as well as returning members of the Cullen Family including Peter Facinelli as Carlisle, Elizabeth Reaser as Esme, Jackson Rathbone as Jasper, Nikki Reed as Rosalie, Ashley Greene as Alice and Kellan Lutz as Emmett.
The project, based on the fourth novel in author Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series, is currently being written by Melissa Rosenberg with Wyck Godfrey, Karen Rosenfelt and Stephenie Meyer producing. The TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN will start production in the Fall.
The third film in the franchise, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE is due in theaters on June 30, 2010.

Excellent plan considering the huge content of Breaking Dawn. But–thats nearly a year and a half away–much to long. They have to speed things up as they did with the last film and the new Eclipse about to open. Look what’s happened to Harry Potter, didtant past now…..get to work people !!!!!
Nothing happens in this book. If you took out all of the superfluous b.s. it would be about 10 pages long. Stephanie Meyer is the worst author I’ve ever read and this series of books is horrible–no wonder teenagers are so ignorant.
Two more chances for Melissa Rosenberg to thoroughly trash the series. I wish they’d replace her for BD.

Are they kidding?? There isn’t enough content in that joke of a book to fill a half hour. Maybe they can fix all the dropped plot lines and holes for the film and make it better.

I think it’s been well done….I am almost done the 4th book and just went to see the 3rd movie last night.,,,,,If you think you can do any better then get a pencil and paper and right your own !!! I can’t wait to see the rest of the movies !!
