Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick were spotted packing up their car today for what looks like a weekend getaway.
I wonder if they take the nannies along for a family vacation? Or maybe she and Matthew were leaving the kids with sitters and taking a little “couple retreat” together. Wouldn’t that be nice?
How old were your kids before you left them for a weekend away? I know some people who don’t leave their kids for any overnights at all.

I left my twins with their grandparents at 3 months. Best 2 weeks of my life!
I left mine with my 2 wonderful sisters when they were 6mo and 16mo and now you know why. My husband and I went on a much needed vacation for 3 glorious days. I burned up the phone lines calling home though.
I’m sure this clever couple was probably packing up to go to their home in the Hamptons judging by the grocery bags. Unfortunately, they can’t risk piling in all the kids while paparazzi are outside shooting. They probably made arrangements for someone else to take the kids separately otherwise they’ve have photographers following them the entire way. This family seems so committed to being a real family despite the many intrusions into their private lives. Happy Father’s Day to Matthew!!
I love looking at photos of JSP, but it must be so annoying for her and the hubby to have photographers following them all the time. I mean, even going on a weekend getaway, and their faces are splattered all over the world. Crazy, eh
We have a 11 year old boy who was never left alone with his nana or relatives. This came back to bite us in the ass, because he absolutely hated when we went away for the weekend, which we did when he was about nine or ten. I was so paranoid and didn’t trust anyone. Now we have a newborn and instead of waiting till shes older we’re taking the nany with us. We can’t afford to go on vacation alone with our two kids and not have one night to ourselves, becaues it’s our only time to relax since we are non stop back home.

That was really enjoyable moment, spending time with your partner alone is such memorable..Even you have kids, You should have time to get along and enjoy after your busy days..Couple should have time to relax and talk, its different when you are just at home and the other place.
The paparazzi may have left by the time they brought the kids out because the woman you see in the photo’s in the back of the car is one of the twins nannies. I’ve saw her in several sets of pictures with the twins and SJP. I’m pretty sure that’s the nanny.
Also judging by the car, its not the small silver hybrid you see SJP in when she goes out with just James or just one of the twins at a time. I’d say they are taking all the kid since its a SUV/Mini van type of car.
