Drama For Leona Lewis

You aren’t going to believe this one. Heck – I might not either considering the source is THE SUN. Let’s just go with it for now.

Leona Lewis’ ex-boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa is reportedly demanding $2.3 million because he helped her get famous.

The former electrician claims to have filled in the form for her to audition for UK TV talent show ‘The X Factor’, which she went on to win, making her a global superstar worth millions. A friend of Lou’s told The Sun newspaper:

“He believes he has played a huge role in Leona’s success. They have been together for more than 10 years and he has encouraged her to fulfill her potential. He believes he has the rights of a common-law husband.”

“He even filled in her ‘X Factor’ application form and believes he then played a huge role in her success.”

Leona and Lou’s split last month. What do you think about this lawsuit?

She did offer him the house worth £6oo.ooo.He is now a talent scout, would he have had that position,if it wasn’t for the fact that she was famous? So he filled the form in and encouraged her, okay, but the talent is hers.He shared some very good times with her,all that travelling and living the lifestyle he would never have had.I think it is really greedy and lowers him in my estimation to ask for money. He’s got a career of his own now and should just get on with lifeand leave her to get on with hers.Apparently he also says he got her contacts etc, which must be rubbish, she’s got Simon Cowell behind her,why would she need someone like her boyfriend to set up contacts for her?How big headed can you get.I think he’s showing his true colours, and she is well rid of him.

I feel for both. I remember when they were an incredible couple: she was becoming famous and she was with “just an electrician”. She adored him and he adored her, way before fame. I didn’t know they broke up…but if they have been together for 10 years I can really imagine that fame, like we could all predict, is the reason for them breaking up. If that’s the case, I sort of side with him. They weren’t legally married but common law married? I guess so. I guess I’m not sure that he’s entitled to any of it, but considering he did a lot for her and pushed her and believed in her, it’d be nice to get something in return since they’re apart now?

LOL! They weren’t married and he never owned her talent. She was either born with her talent or developed it throughout all her life (I don’t know that much about her) – But that makes it hers. He isn’t the one who did all the work.

On the other hand, true, it sucks for him because it’s like someone won the lottery with the number you chose for them and played with their money. But still, that makes it their winnings.

He should be ashamed of himself. What a ‘man’. How are you going to take $ from someone just for being with them? How utterly low, cowardly and boyish. He is a lowlife.

“Don’t forget it’s me who put you where you are now and I can put you back down, too.”

    Sing it with me!

“Don’t…don’t you want me? You know I can’t believe it when you say that you won’t see me. Don’t…don’t you want me? You know I can’t believe you when you say that you don’t need me…”
