Piper Perabo Of ‘Cover Affairs’

Did anyone check out the series premiere of the new USA Network show ‘Covert Affairs‘? It stars Piper Perabo (here she’s about to visit the ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ show). I saw it and thought it was pretty good.

It’s hard not to compare her to Jennifer Garner in ‘Alias,’ but I’d say ‘Covert Affairs’ has a slightly lighter tone than ‘Alias’ did. Piper is a little more goofy (as you may sense from some of these pictures :) .

Check out a couple of previews and Piper’s description of her character, new CIA operative Annie.

The second preview and Piper’s interview about Annie are after the break.

Second preview:

Here Piper describes her character, Annie:

Think you’ll check it out? It comes on Tuesday nights at 10.

I watched the preview, it was ok. Not that special, but something i’d like to watch every now and then. It was a tad cheesy in a b-class way imo, whereas the already mentioned Alias for example, for me, was ridiculous and unrealistic at times, but stellar all the way, silly in a good way. Still, i adore Christopher G and that was the main reason i got through the whole episode :)

The season premiere was a little on the cheesy side, but it was actually enjoyable despite that. I have it set to record each week. Better than a lot of other shows on tv right now (or lack thereof…)
