Leona Lewis is apparently so upset over her breakup with long time boyfriend, Lou Al-Chamaa, that she had to cancel her tour plans.
“Leona’s heart just wasn’t in the tour towards the end of the U.K. leg. She was upset, teary and heartbroken over her split with Lou.
“She’d been with him for 10 years. This was the love of her life. The last thing she wanted was to be on the road away from a support network of friends and family. She wasn’t up for it emotionally.”
That makes sense to me. She’s emotionally fragile right now. Leona probably wouldn’t be able to go on stage, sing love songs and pour her heart and soul into her music, without having a break down.
I wonder if her fans are angry or if they consider this to be an understandable reason for canceling.

I don’t really buy the reasoning…label wouldn’t allow an artist to cancel dates for a reason like that. they would have to return money on all sold tickets, etc. , doesn’t really make sense.

10 years? Like I always say, nothing last forever. She shouldn’t cancel it because it would it help her forget about the breakup, but people react different to love issues.
I can understand it. I took two weeks off from work when my ex and I split. We were together for 6 years and it was devastating. I understand that work needs to get done regardless but people are allowed to take time to grieve and I’m more than positive that all those people who’d bought tickets had their money refunded. Of course people will be disappointed, but real life happens even to stars. Work should never be more important that your personal life.

Maybe it’s just pride, but if this were me I wouldn’t want anyone (or him!) to know I was taking it badly! I’d do the shows and put on a happy face.
I don’t believe this story. You can’t cancel a tour when it hasn’t been announced. The only dates announced were UK and USA(opening for Christina Aguilera and was cancelled). If she was planning to continue to tour, dates would have been announced awhile ago.
