This morning the Jersey Shore gang hung out on the Today show with Matt Lauer. Snooki, Paul ‘DJ Pauly D’ Delvecchio, Jenni ‘JWOWW’ Farley and Vinny Guadagnino were chatting about the premiere of season 2, which starts tonight on MTV.
In the conversation Snooki mentions that she bought a new car, but isn’t able to drive it!
“I bought a new car. I got a 2011 BWM, that I can’t drive because it’s stick,”
“But it’s still a good time.”
Color me stupid, but WHY wouldn’t you buy an automatic? That doesn’t make any sense!!! Unless she got a special deal or something and that’s what she was given?
Matt tried to bring up the salary issues, but Snooki said she’s not concerned with money, she just wants to have fun.
“We don’t come here to talk about money; we come here to party,” Snooki told Matt. “We haven’t discussed those things, and we shouldn’t. We just come here to have a good time.”
The cast also shared that they don’t worry about how the show will be edited to make them look:
“When we come here, we don’t think about what’s going to be cut and screwed, we just come out to have a good time,” she said. “We don’t think about [the show's editing]. Because if you do, you’ll drive yourself crazy and you won’t be yourself.”
Are you planning to watch season 2? Did you watch the first one? I think it’ll either blow up bigger than it was or it might fizzle out if fans aren’t happy with it not actually being filmed at the shore.

i hate to admit it, but i’m totally excited for the new season to start. it’s my guilty pleasure! they’re so stupid that it’s just hilarious
i made my daughter learn how to drive a stick! she loves it! i was driving a stick at 10 yrs old! datsun truck!
Then go and learn,what an idiot wasted money and car for what,to watch it park in front and in my opinion people should only pass driving when have learn to drive on manual first.I love driving stick,is what driving really is about,automatic is pushing a pedal and steering.
eh, i may watch tonight if timing allows. i didn’t watch the whole first season.
anyway, i like Snickers’ dress there, but it looks like it would be a shirt on me lol
How many lessons you need to learn to drive stick? 10? BIG DEAL!
Here you can’t even get a license for automatic only, you must learn manual first.
A lot of big deal sports cars are only offered in stick so the driving experience is enhanced, not automatic. I have no idea if that’s even the kind of car she bought… maybe she’s going to learn? Still…
