That blonde hair always surprises me! Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are so dark and punk rock and their son… isn’t. I know so many people who have black hair and olive skin and whose kids are light blonde. Naturally, the color darkens over the years, but it’s still always shocking to see.
Here’s Ashlee, Pete with their son, Bronx, spotted leaving their hotel in New York City today. What do you think about the singer’s extensions being a few shades lighter than her natural color? It’s a bit of a trend in Hollywood. I’m not so sure I’m loving it.

mmm let me explain genetics to you Vera. When one of the parents is blond and have the blond gene runs in their family (remember Jessica Simpson, their father Joe is also blond) is likely their offspring will come out with blond hair too….no matter if the parents choose to dye their hair black, this wont affect genetics.

My cousins and I all look like those Gosselin kids. But some of my cousins actually have kids with blonde hair.

when i think Ashlee SImpson and Pete Wentz, i think “dark and punk rock”. Those two are just so hardcore, they put Henry Rollins to shame.
Ashley is naturally blonde. Even if she wasnt the blonde gene is still there in her family.
