Have you been following the controversy over 14-year-old Kendall Jenner’s (younger sister to the Kardashian sisters: Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe) bikini pictures? She’s working as a model, and some have argued the pictures were too explicit for a young teenager. Khloe Kardashian thinks her sister’s pictures aren’t a big deal, however.
“She’s definitely gorgeous she looks better than most 20-year-olds in their bikinis!” Khloe, 26, told UsMagazine.com Saturday…
“Also, in the modeling world, being 14 is actually ‘middle age,’” Khloe went on. “Kimora Lee Simmons was walking for Chanel in Paris at age 12; no one commented when she did that. So if you want to speak in modeling perspective, you have to live in a modeling world. Not that many people are putting it in that perspective. They’re just thinking, ‘Oh, Kendall Jenner. Let’s talk some crap.’”
Here’s one of Kendall’s pictures. Teenagers certainly wear bikinis at the beach and all, but I don’t know if I’d want my 14-year-old posing for professional pictures in a bikini (regular clothes are a different story)… It is part of the world of modeling, though.
I knew people started modeling when they were young, but I didn’t know 14 was considered middle aged for models, did you? What do you think of Kendall posing in bikinis at her age?

The Kardashian sisters should be setting a better example for their younger sisters. A 14 year old posing like that is disgusting. Why can’t anyone just let the kids be kids? Why is there pressure to become sex objects at such a young age? She does NOT look 14 in the picture, which was obviously the point, because you can’t have a 14 year old who actually LOOKS like a 14 year old posing as a sex object because that would be a little too close to kiddy porn. Which is essentially what that photo is, and it is really just disgusting.
Nothing this family does surprises me. Of course she is going to end up posing half naked everywhere just like her big sisters and be famous for being famous.
I think they are a little too risque for a young girl. I do think that young girls do this all the time and don’t get the same flack. Double standards
I guess I just don’t see the big deal? Those pictures aren’t bad. She certainly looks older than just 14 but I think that’s fine.
I don’t know if it’s middle aged (that’s probably more like 19-22? which is silly…), but it’s also not unusual. I read that Miranda Kerr started modeling at 13.
The ones that everyone got fired up about aren’t even the ones that Us is showing. It was fairly provocative. If Miley Cyrus had done the exact same photo shoot, the media would’ve went ballistic.
she cant help that she is so gorgeous and i think because her sisters r so gorgeous she is going to want to copy them and look liike them so leve her alone! (not that she isnt already beautiful without doing modelling!!!). =)
