Timbaland Addresses Rumors About Suicide Scare

This morning, TMZ reported that the Los Angeles police put out an APB on rapper Timbaland due to concern he was going to attempt suicide. Timbaland reportedly was very upset about a theft from his home- so upset that he worried his family. The police searched for Timbaland by helicopter and car.

Timbaland then called into Ryan Seacrest’s radio show to explain.

On waking up to TMZ’s story this morning:

“I dont know what happened to be honest with you. I don’t even know what people are talking about.”

About the theft (TMZ reported it was a watch that was stolen):

“[The theft] did happen, [but] it wasn’t a watch, it was something else.”

On the police’s APB over a possible suicide attempt:

“The only thing that I did was take a drive to figure out how I was going to handle [the theft].”

And why would his family have thought he was suicidal?

“I wasn’t talking, so I guess people got worried.”

It sounds like they got really worried! Well, I’m glad Timbaland’s okay, especially since he has a wife and daughter (you can see them in some of the pictures below).
