Lindsay Lohan kept on top of her commitments this morning – she was spotted heading over to see her probation officer in Santa Monica. While she was taking care of business, her father, Michael Lohan, was busy telling the media about his latest venture: owner and manager of a rehab clinic.
Yes, it’s, true, I’ll be running it, Michael told Radar Online. I think it’s time that Dina [Lohan] and I both step out of the media for a while, and for me that means getting back to what I know best helping people with addiction.
Michael says that someone “very well known” is helping to fund it, but he can’t say who it is.
But I have my entire team of therapists in place and the financing is done, he explained. We’re still negotiating the location.
A little about the way he plans to run it:
I’m going to have a protocol that will be have to be followed. I don’t believe in prescription drugs, Michael said. If people come in on them they’re going to have to get off of them, otherwise they’ll be looking for another rehab.
I believe spirituality and holistic methods can cure anything, he added. God will be a major element in recovery.
I don’t know. One minute he’s opening a night club, now this? We’ll just have to wait and see if it all pans out, right?

Go tell him that … he would probably say that if you “really” beleive in God you can be cured from everything that is wrong with you … you know sex addiction-drug-alcool-stupidity ect

i can see how well holistic methods and god have cured him of his ailments. perhaps i need to be physically assaulted and/or have my life threatened to fully endorse this clinic of his.
After beating the crap out of your fiancee, releasing private telephone conversations of your famous daughter, and constant media-whoring…he wants to open a rehab center…ha.
