The RV dealership that Taylor Lautner is suing for failure to deliver his custom RV trailer on time has come up with a unique proposal to settle the claim.
Brent McMahon, who owns McMahon’s RV, has suggested that the two have a push up contest to settle the matter out of court. He is adamant that he isn’t in the wrong and plans to defend himself in court, but thought the two could settle it in a more charitable way.
The 47-year-old businessman said if he won the contest, he would donate the settlement money to Children’s Hospital of Orange County.
Taylor is suing him for $40,000 – that would be a nice chunk of change for the hospital. What do you think of the proposal? I’m doubtful that Taylor will go for it.
You have to wonder how long it will be until the Twilight fans know which trailer is Taylor’s since it’s decked out with a custom paint job and all that. He’ll need extra security to keep the fans away from it.

Lautner’s lawyer issued the following statement – “We have tried to take the high road by not commenting on this matter but we want to set the record straight. McMahon’s RV’s response to our client’s legitimate claim further demonstrates the lack of professionalism that Mr. McMahon, his company and his employees have exhibited from the outset, and that compelled the filing of this lawsuit in the first place.”
“This suit is not about a ‘customized’ RV, it is about McMahon’s RV’s refusal to deliver the vehicle in the safe, drivable condition that was promised, as every purchaser has the right to expect. A cursory review of McMahon’s RV’s record with the Better Business Bureau shows that this is a repeated pattern of conduct; Mr. Lautner just happens to be a high profile customer that is holding them accountable.”
Im totally on Taylor’s side. Taylor’s lawyer got it exactly right, Taylor is a very nice, mature, humble and down to earth young actor. You can see it all his interviews and how he carries himself. He would never do this unless required.
My having to deal with a dealership over a used car is enough for me to hope this kid sticks it up this pricks wazoo. I went and read the petition and the kids attorneys response. This wasn’t a custom RV, it was used & they contracted to have some refurbishing as part of the sale, they guaranteed the delivery date (to stop the kid from going to another dealership) & there was other stuff including the fact it had safety issues (I can relate, but at a much lower $$ level, try stopping without brake fluid). The kid should win the lawsuit get the money owed him and as a gesture donate it to a charity of HIS choice. Or just keep it. It’s his money. This jerky dealer probably trained my jerky dealer. I gotta remember LET THE BUYER BEWARE
Taylor Lautner r u sure its worth the time and money to sue the chap..even if i was a billionaire and he was a billionaire i’d drop the lawsuit and just donate the $40K to the hospital…do u need the publicity?…or the money?
C’mon Taylor..its not worth it..dont waste ur time and money…what do u have to prove?..honestly…sounds like the chap has a heart…show ur good side and let the chap donate the money to the hospital…
Who in the world gets everything delivered on time? This a complete waste of time, money and court costs. Which by the way, the taxpayer is the one paying for the court costs to keep the judges in their job. LOL. Stupid lawsuit. Relax and chill out. I am sure your overpriced trailer will be perfect when you get it. Being a DIVA.
