Taylor Lautner Won’t Go Mano-A-Mano

Last night I told you about the RV dealership that offered ‘Twilight‘ star Taylor Lautner a, well, unique resolution to his complaint that he didn’t get his trailer on time: the owner wanted to have a push-up contest to resolve the matter out of court.

Taylor’s camp’s response? Nice try, buddy, according to E! News.

“McMahon RV’s response to our client’s legitimate claim further demonstrates the lack of professionalism that Mr. McMahon, his company, and his employees have exhibited from the outset, and that compelled the filing of this lawsuit in the first place,” said Lautner lawyer Robert Barta.

While lambasting McMahon’s “facetious suggestion” about the fitness challenge, the lawyer said the 18-year-old actor did “welcome the opportunity for him to resolve the matter by making a $40,000 donation to the charity of Mr. Lautner’s choice.”

The trailer reportedly costs $300,000. If this company is selling/renting out trailers like that, then a $40,000 donation should be manageable, don’t you think? (Although Taylor looks like he could handle himself in a push-up contest, judging from these pictures of him filming ‘Valentine’s Day’ :)

Hmmm, doesn’t he look too happy?!?

Why should Lautner participate? McMahon sounds like a snake and is trying to get some good publicity from his stupid mistake.

let me guess, the charity of choice will be the Taylor Lautner Foundation, which is really no different from a private estate which celebs and other rich people establish purely for tax purposes.
