Quote Of The Day: Christina Hendricks

‘People have been saying some nice, wonderful things about me. Yet not one designer in town will loan me a dress.

‘They only lend out a size 0 or 2. So I’m still struggling for someone to give me a darn dress’.

It must be frustrating, since January Jones is probably deluged with gowns. Most actresses aren’t raking in Angelina Jolie-type pay, and there’s no guarantee of steady work past Mad Men, so spending loads of money on a dress is probably very aggravating.

I’m assuming people buying those sorts of dresses only end up wearing them once.

Nyx – these dresses can be like 30 thousand dollars. You wear the dress once.. it’s like disgraceful to buy all of them.

she got HUGE racks!! I’m not a fan of this particular dress but she is beautiful.

It’s hard to find a designer to loan a dress when they make theirs to be worn by stick figures. I’m surprise people aren’t bending over backwards for the challenge of working with her figure. Anyone can make a dress for someone with little-to-no curves.

    she is sooooooo gorgeous!

I think she looks a little fat. could lose a few.

Sounds like she needs to find an up and coming designer who wants to get their name out there and make her look fantabulous. :)

  9. KissKiss says:

With a body like that you don’t need a dress.

  10. Nyx says:

Really, do these people not earn enough to buy their own dresses?

  11. Other Karen says:

I wouldn’t loan her a dress, mostly because if nobody else is lending her dresses, then I’d know she really, really hated my dress if she didn’t wear it. Otherwise, I could imagine my dress being second choice out of fifteen.
I’m sure eventually a designer would be happy to create something just for her.
