Was Elin Woods suicidal after the breakup of her marriage to Tiger Woods? The ENQUIRER is reporting that a source close to Elin said that not only did her husband’s cheating almost drive her to suicide, but that it also caused stress-induced vomiting, insomnia uncontrollable crying.
Thankfully, through intense therapy sessions and the love of her two adorable kids that she was able to get through such a tough time.
The source also says that
“Elin was devastated,
and that
“She began staying home, seeing no one and weeping all the time. She had nannies take the children out so she could sit at home and cry,
Well, if I found out my husband was doing what Tiger was doing, I think I’d be pretty upset too! But not sure if I believe this one or not – given the source. Elin seems to be a pretty strong woman so while I see her being upset, I’m not sure if I buy it that she was suicidal. What do you think?

I was thinking the same, she loves her kids too much to contemplate suicide. Of course she was upset, what woman wouldn’t be. But her kids seem very important to her.
i doubt it…. the media said that tigers cheating was the worst kept secret in the golf world and she even knew… the rule was not in my house… that is the rule that he broke.
I can believe every word of it – think I would have done exactly the same. I don’t think, however, she would have killed herself – she loves those two babies much too much. Wanting to die and trying to die are two entirely different things. I wish her every happiness, God knows she deserves it.
she was devastated and began to stay home weeping and crying…..sound like a normal reaction to me – where did it say she was suicidal? so because she was home crying she was thinking of killing herself? don’t think so.
She was staying home grieving the death of her marriage and trying to cope with the circus her life had become while raising her kids.
I am sure she did not want to commit suicide. Although I am sure she vomited and cried. Your mind and life is on a rollercoaster until things are resolved. I wish her and her children the best in their future life.
Actually, she wasn’t in hiding very long. There were photo’s of her and the kids everywhere….I can believe that she was devastated and cried a lot. Suicidal? I doubt it.
I’d be careful to believe what you read in the Enquirer!
I feel so sorry for Elin… and I can’t stand that man Tiger Woods.
I sure hope not. He’s the one that messed up and she’s got her kids to think about.
