Reese Witherspoon Shares Some Words Of Wisdom With Michelle Williams

Michelle Williams has been raising daughter Matilda, now 5 mostly as a single parent, and found herself discussing how difficult that was with Reese Witherspoon. In an interview with Marie Claire magazine, Williams revealed that Witherspoon shed a little perspective on the situation for her;

“To give credit where credit is due, I was sharing a difficulty I was experiencing with Reese Witherspoon, and she said, ‘Yes, I understand, but think about how much more difficult this would be without the luxury of a reliable, steady income.”

Well that’s the truth! I often wonder how single parents who have to work full time do it – it’s such a hard job! It’s nice to see that they both realize that they are fortunate enough to have the income to help them out! Michelle went on to say that;

“When things are difficult for me as a single parent, I always reflect on how much harder it would be if I didn’t have money—if I couldn’t afford a babysitter to go to yoga class or out to dinner with a girlfriend.”

Michelle is getting rave reviews for her performance in Blue Valentine – have you seen it yet?

      i wouldn’t bunch them all together. it’s not michelle’s fault she is rich. she worked for it. she comes across as a very hands-on mom. just because she can afford to have time to herself does not make her an evil person. you just sound jealous.

    It’s nice to know that some of them realize how lucky they are. And it’s sad to realize that some people can’t see past money at all.
