Last night was the 2011 Juno Awards – basically Canada’s version of The Grammys. Toronto born rapper Drake hosted the event and proved to be a pretty good awards show host!
Drake opened the show by Skype-ing in fellow Canadian superstar Justin Bieber where they both talked about all things Canadian and proceeded to duet on a few bars of Sarah McLachlan’s “I Will Remember You’. It was pretty funny!
Drake, who before becoming a rap superstar was one of the main cast members of long running tv show Degrassi High, proved to be a fantastic host, putting James Franco’s Oscar hosting duties to shame (not like that was hard!)
