Sarah Jessica Parker Still Gets Nervous On The Job

Sarah Jessica Parker may be one of the highest earning actresses, but that doesn’t mean she’s cool and confident when starting a new job.  The star of the upcoming movie “I Don’t Know How She Does It” admits that she is a wreck at the start of any new project:

“I lose my appetite.  By Wednesday of the first week on I Don’t Know How She Does It, I was sobbing. I was apologizing. I was feeling so awful and ashamed, like I had let the director down…I’m like that two weeks into every movie. But the beauty of nerves is that you can always find a comrade in it.”

In the film she plays a financial executive trying to find balance between family life at home and a stressful job, something the mom of three had in common with her character:

“I loved the part, and I can obviously relate to Kate”

She says that she’s one of those moms who frets over every detail of the family schedule:

“the internal lists, the children’s doctor’s appointments, the letters to write, the school projects”

“The thing that’s most surprising to me is how much we do in a day,”

She says they do have a nanny, but not a live-in one:

“We don’t have any live-in help. We’re pretty hands-on parents,” Parker insists. “That’s something that’s important to both of us, and we don’t shirk it, because what’s the point in having a family if you’re not going to really participate in it, you know?”

Sarah Jessica says that being an older mom is a good thing, so long as she can keep up her endurance:

“I guess I think there are things about it that I hope have made me a better mother.  I’ve had a lot of opportunities to do the things that I wanted to do, like sleep. I have slept until 11:00 for a lot of years. Honestly, the only thing that I’m concerned about is the energy: I hope I can maintain the energy.”

they must say these things because ordinary people just think they’re like you & me.

They are just like “you and “me” , but with lots of money and they get pay to entertain wich exposes them to be in the public and naturally required them to have all this people keeping them above “average” looking if you will, just so the rest of us “normal people” keep interested in them, and ultimately in some strange way live our dreams thru them, because the truth is that they are just people like “us”. Unfortunatelly for most we live in a world where looks and status is most important, and who doesn’t like to look at nice things, and at people who once were struggling just like many and say wow if I could only have those things! The truth is they have money which nowadays can also buy you fame, but it doesn’t mean that they breath a special air or never have to face problems like the rest of the human race, maybe not financial problems, but probably other things that are also meaningful. Ya know?!
