This is so unbelievably sad. Singer Gavin DeGraw was hospitalized over the weekend after being attacked by a group of thugs in New York early Monday morning, according to multiple reports.
The crooner, best known for his smash hits “I Don’t Wanna Be” and “Chariot,” was taken to the emergency room at a local NYC hospital after sustaining multiple cuts and bruises, including a broken nose, as per People.com.
While DeGraw is currently touring with Maroon 5 and Train, his reps have issued a statement regarding his current condition.
“Gavin DeGraw was assaulted … and was taken to the emergency room at Bellevue Hospital by ambulance. He is currently under observation.”
Our best wishes go out to Gavin on a speedy recovery!
