Here’s Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, attending the opening of the new Oak Centre for Children and Young People at The Royal Marsden Hospital. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge make a good-looking couple, don’t they?
This visit is especially meaningful because Prince William’s mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, was the President of the London hospital. William now holds the position. This is also part of Catherine’s introduction to the charity work that the royal family does.
“The Duchess is using the next few months to get to get to know a number of charitable and other causes better, so she can make well informed decisions about her future role,” says a spokesman.
The couple’s spokesman also said that Catherine has a “broad range of interests,” so that while her charities will “complement” William’s own choices, they “will be different.” It’ll be interesting to watch her build her own platform!
