Scarlett Johansson returned to the recording studio! She worked with Lulu Gainsbourg on a cover of French music legend Serge Gainsbourg’s ‘Bonnie & Clyde.’ The song is included in Lulu’s tribute to his father. The tribute album is called ‘From Gainsbourg to Lulu.’
Lulu selected all the songs and invited various people to sing tracks. In addition to Scarlett, he reportedly asked Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, who did a duet (pre-split). All of these songs would “best pay homage to his father’s work,” according to someone close to Lulu. I hope we get to hear the album here in the States! Are you a fan of Scarlett as a singer?
