Jennifer Garner gave birth to baby Samuel five months ago, yet she looked fabulous at the premiere of ‘The Odd Life of Timothy Green’! Jennifer and her longtime trainer, Valerie Waters, shared her workout strategy to get her body back in shape after giving birth. Jennifer shared:
“I was working out with my trainer this morning, [a]nd she was like ‘Yeah, I think it’s time. I think we need to put some pleather on!’ “
“She’s looking so amazing right now. She looks strong and sexy, and I like that she’s rocking her Lycra again!”
Jennifer said she started exercising a month after having Samuel. Valerie said the first few workouts were slow, 15 to 20 minutes, before increasing to 40 minutes, three to four times a week. In addition to doing cardio twice a week, Jennifer also does strength training.
Jennifer also eats a healthy diet of mostly organic foods, with few processed foods, and she keeps fresh fruit and veggies nearby for when cravings kick in. Valerie said she and Jennifer have moved into the “fine-tuning, sculpting stage.” Go Jen!
