Rachael Ray is one busy lady! She has ‘The Rachael Ray Show‘ and recently released her latest cookbook, ‘The Book of Burger.’ Yet Rachael was nice enough to answer some questions we put to her! Here’s what she had to say:
Tell us a little bit about your partnership with Ziploc.
I partnered with the Ziploc® Brand to create The Great American FreshOver™ Project. Together, we are helping families give their favorite foods a freshness makeover – a FreshOver™ – and teaching Americans that eating fresh can be convenient. Ziploc® Brand products lock in freshness and provide food storage solutions families trust.
What’s great is that we held a FreshOver™ Sweepstakes on the Ziploc® Brand Facebook page and fans entered for a chance to win a trip for two to meet me here in New York City. I had the pleasure of meeting Sharon Wong, the lucky winner! She got a behind-the-scenes look at one of my shows, “Week in a Day,” met the culinary team, and also got a tour some of my favorite, fresh places to eat and shop for food in NYC! Everyone can get involved and take advantage of recipes and tips over at the Ziploc® Brand Facebook page.
You are the busiest woman in show business – what’s coming up this year?
I just released my 20th book, The Book of Burger, and have another book coming out in November that I collaborated on with my husband John called, My Year in Meals. The daytime show is moving into a new studio and the new season will premiere September 17th. We are also in a major partnership with my pet food, Nutrish, and the ASPCA to help shelters around the country get the most numbers of animals adopted between August and November. My partnership with Ziploc® will continue as well and we’ll introduce some great new tips and recipes in 2013!
Book of Burger is a MEGA success – which is your favorite burger from the lot?
I absolutely am obsessed with burgers and love all the recipes in the book but I have to say the South By Southwest 7-Layer slider burger is one of my favorites.
What’s your favorite Friday night cuisine to order in?
John and I love to get pizza from Motorino in New York City. Or sometimes we will just order delicious Mexican from this little spot near our home.
If we looked into your fridge, what would we find?
You would find a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables and meats and cheeses from the farmers market. And of course, I keep them fresh for longer with Ziploc® Brand Containers and Bags.
LOVE her! I’d definitely check out Rachael’s new cookbook: I’ve never had a recipe of hers turn out badly.

Aww hate to burst your bubble but Rachael Ray is NOT a nice person!!! When I see articles about her I cringe because I met her in February and she is NOTHING like she portrays!
