Oh, Jessica, many of us moms FEEL your pain! Jessica Simpson admitted to USA Today her body isn’t bouncing back like she thought it would after she gave birth. Jessica’s getting ready to make her debut as a celebrity spokeswoman for Weight Watchers.
“I let myself indulge in everything I wanted because it was the first time I was ever pregnant, and I wanted to enjoy it. I wanted to be happy and eat what I wanted. I didn’t realize it (the weight) didn’t all come off with the baby.”
Yeah, Jessica, many moms definitely know your pain! Jessica declined to reveal her post-baby weight, although she said when she did the nude cover for Elle magazine last April, she was 170. She said she doesn’t have a goal weight: Weight Watchers just wants her to be healthy (at 5’4″, a healthy weight range would be 117 – 146).
Jessica also declined to reveal how much weight she’s lost, although she said she’s lost weight every week. Jessica’s watching her diet. She’s doing 60 minutes of cardio a day, which is mostly walking, explaining “My boobs are way too big to run at this point. I’m just walking.”
I can’t IMAGINE having to lose my baby weight with the world watching but earning $3 million for it probably lessens the sting somewhat. I bet Jessica will look great. Go Jessica!
