Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera might bicker a lot as co-judges on their reality singing show The Voice, but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t good friends. In fact, Adam even defended Christina in a recent Q&A when asked about his thoughts on all the recent conversation surrounding her weight.
According to E!Online the singer defended his fellow singing show judge when asked his thoughts on her recent criticism saying;
“People shouldn’t say those kinds of things because, f–k you. It’s like, come on guys, grow up,”
“The one thing about the culture right now—celebrity culture particularly—that is so ugly is [that] people feel like they can just say nasty things about other people…she gets a lot of it. “It pisses me off. Of course I have her back, of course I defend her.”
And just in case you thought that those on set arguments between Adam and Christina were serious, Adam clears that up too;
“The fights that everyone thought we were having were fictional—we never hated each other, we never were having some sort of secret battles that everyone thought we were having. They were silly bickering things that brother and sister would do. It’s not nearly what everybody thought… We’re all good, Christina and I.”
Glad to hear that not only are they friendly but that Adam is willing to support Christina publicly. Now if we could just get people to stop talking about her weight altogether!
