Leann Rimes Dresses Up As “Sandy” For Halloween

Talk about bad timing. Leann Rimes posted new photos of her Halloween costume on her Twitter account which is causing a lot of people to throw shade her way again. The former country star dressed up as Sandy from “Grease” while her husband Eddie Cibrian dressed the part of Danny.

While I’m sure that Leann and Eddie had their Halloween costumes picked out early, it’s really unfortunate that they decided to dress up as the parts anyway, regardless of the fact that Hurricane Sandy has just pretty much killed and devastated many people on the East Coast. What do you guys think? Are the costumes insensitive or is it just a case of bad timing?

    Hurricane Sandy never even crossed my mind when I saw these pictures. I think people are just trying to find a way to hate on her.

      But it did cross the minds of several media outlets who wrote about it on October 28th.

      “Hurricane Sandy: The Obligatory ‘Grease’ Meme

      “Yes, Frankenstorm has a much more ominous and Halloween-friendly ring to it. But the gentler, more goody two-shoes-in-black-leather, more obvious side to Hurricane Sandy and its internet meme potential involves Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta.”

      Considering that the CMA are today and that Blake and Miranda were on the cover of People magazine, no one should be surprised by the fact that Leann is pulling these stunts to keep herself relevant.

    Leann isn’t the victim. If she would stop doing stupid things and certain media outlets would stop glorifying her bad behavior, people wouldn’t have a reason to call her out on her bad behavior.

    Oh please, if Leann had her costume picked out early, she would have been tweeting and posting photos of it all month long just like she has been posting and tweeting about Halloween all month long. Leann tweets everything, she didn’t tweet about her costume until Tuesday. If this was preplanned, Leann would have set up a staged photo-op so that everyone could see her buying the costume just like she did last year. This costume wasn’t preplanned, especially when the article comparing “Grease” and Hurricane Sandy was written on October 28th. Leann was tweeting about Hurricane Sandy like crazy, so she came across this article and this is where she got the idea.

    Wait, is this a joke? oh my god, someone cant dress up as someone named Sandy because theres a devastating hurricane given the same name by some news anchor or some shit somewhere…this is ridiculous. I actually really thought this was a joke…hahaha, THIS is why I havent been to a gossip site in a long time….because of moronic posts like this. AND back to real life I go…

      No you didn’t. You have been on Perez Hilton doing damage control like crazy. The moronic post is trying to convince people that Leann wasn’t mocking Hurricane Sandy when there is an article that compares Hurricane Sandy to Grease and several examples of Leann using her Halloween costumes to mock people. Going back to real life would be to tell your client to stop doing stupid things so that you won’t have to resort to name calling.

      Since Leann is very public about everything she does in her life we have seen this same pattern before. Last year she dressed up as a pregnant bride. She included a pack of Winston cigarettes to mock Eddie’s ex-wife who had made a mistake about Winston Churchill and Winston cigarettes on RHOBH.The year before that Eddie’s ex-wife received a DUI in October. Leann mocked her by taking a photo of herself in handcuffs being lead away.
      That same month, Leann used a Halloween chapel setting to mock rumors that she and Eddie were engaged. That same month when told that she and Eddie were going to hell because of the mean and nasty things they were doing to his ex-wife, Leann and Eddie took several photos of themselves in devil horns.

      So Leann wasn’t mocking Hurricane Sandy? Yes she was. You can’t argue that she isn’t mocking the Hurricane when there is an article written on Oct 28th, showing where she got the idea and then on top of that her own fans didn’t even know what she was wearing until Oct 31 because that was when she started tweeting about leather and fun!

    @Jennifer

    So you have no clue why ANYONE would possibly think that Leann was mocking the hurricane even though people found a article that was doing just that?
